The importance of culture in university residential colleges

The importance of culture in Australian university residential colleges was in the spotlight at Kings College at the The University of Queensland in June, when Australia's longest serving Sex Discrimination Commissioner, Ms Elizabeth Broderick AO, delivered the annual David Williams Lecture.

The David Williams Lecture is an annual event and was first delivered by Sir Zelman Cowan in 1995. It honours a benefactor, the late Dr David Williams, a Welshman who entered King’s College in 1934.

Ms Broderick is a champion of college cultural change.
